III. Time and causality paradoxes:
- retro-psychokinesis, or turning causality on its head
- precognition versus remote viewing "bleed-through": what does it tell us about the nature of time?
- the transactional interpretation and other "solutions" to the quantum puzzle
- Barbour, Deutch and the vision of a frozen masterpiece: if time is illusory, what is the meaning of action?

Settlement. A larger region, boldly manifesting what was presaged in the Waystation. Triggers one of the more complex sound arrays, referencing some neo-paleolithic gathering of peoples: water flow, water pouring, cooking, movements, fires, insects, deific insurgences, animals, but mostly language. This makes extensive (and real-time) usage of the Language Generator, to present an abstracted, incomprehensible, yet dynamic linguistic chatter, at various times, distances and inter-relation. (see Language Generator). Water: I see a microphone, wrapped in a condom, lying in a pool of water while I stand, splashing my feet a little, in the water as well. A ritual, perhaps emptied of significance. Yurts: geodesic domes, smallish, covered with plastic tarps à refugee. Different scale than tent- housing within interstitial, marginal, liminal zones. …Perhaps this is the others- the dreamed of, pursued, left behind, avoided- related to the tent. Others who broke from the world to populate this place, this memory space , others who were created out of a psychic need, others to whom you journey, ultimately for a new sense of belonging, others who pursue you and from whom, as always, you must escape. Populations tend to gather near water. Water is the life-giver, water is god’s tears. Water is a burst vein of the earth. Water is the dream that dreams you. Water is you, in a state that is not yet you. Water is unmeasured spoonfuls of drowning. Water is the sleep of the sky. Water is left-over night. Water is unformed sorrow.
Pendulum. A small strip, occupying wall opposite the entrance, triggering the back & forth motion of a “noise ball” pendulum. Rate is algorithmically varying. Listener is in the midst of the pendulum’s swing. Foucault’s dream… a variance off Foucault’s pendulum: algorithmic decay and regeneration of periodic rhythm {with variance rhythms of drum & drone = polyrhythmic universe} - ? – timepiece – variable functioning of time : variable measurement of motion {motion = change = time} turning of a world by a mechanism à gravity is God’s machine. time = measurement of god’s breath {is there a lung connection? Impulse/repulse? Contraction/reaction?}
